Switching language (localization DE/EN)

CompanyWizard is bilingual (German / English). Each user chooses the language themselves via the language switcher (EN/DE) in the header – no URL prefix like /de/ is required.

How it works

  • The selection is saved and persists: in the web in the browser (localStorage), in the desktop in the local secure storage.
  • Web (WASM): When switching, the app reloads fully to activate the language resources.
  • Desktop: The interface is rebuilt cleanly without a restart.

Scope

The interface texts (app and admin texts) as well as the texts of the Syncfusion components are translated. Content (chat responses, knowledge base documents) follows the respective source or the selected model, not the UI language.

  • The language is a user setting, not a system-wide admin switch.
