Calendar integration (beta)

Ask your calendar.

Connect your own calendar account and the assistant answers questions like "What’s on this week?", "Am I free Thursday at 3 pm?" or "Who’s in my 3 pm meeting?" — grounded in your real events, not in the model’s memory.

AI without a calendar stays vague

An assistant that does not know your calendar can say nothing concrete about your day. Typing events out or pasting screenshots is tedious — and out of date the moment you do it.

The usual way to give an AI calendar access brings two problems: often write permissions nobody needs, and a sync into someone else’s cloud that is delicate for personal appointments.

Two worlds, one assistant — read-only

CompanyWizard reads your calendars through a single, read-only abstraction: CalDAV (Nextcloud, Apple iCloud, mailbox.org, Posteo, GMX, self-hosted) and Microsoft 365 via Microsoft Graph. Each person connects their own account; several accounts at once are fine.

Credentials are stored encrypted, Microsoft tokens live in a secure cache — secrets never leave the host. With Microsoft 365, depending on the customer tenant, a prior approval by the tenant administrator may be required. Every calendar access is visible in the activity view.

In three steps

  1. Connect

Each person connects their own account — CalDAV with an app password or Microsoft 365 by signing in. Web and desktop alike.

  2. Ask

Ask in the chat in plain language — "What’s on this week?", "Am I free Thursday at 3 pm?". Relative phrasing resolves correctly.

  3. Trace

Every access appears in the activity view with its source — you see which calendar was read.

What this means for you

  • Read-only — the assistant never changes events, creates none and sends no invitations.
  • Per-user and private: each person connects their own account, credentials encrypted, secrets stay on the host.
  • Full transparency: every calendar access is visible in the activity view.
  • GDPR-friendly: works with German providers and self-hosted Nextcloud — nothing has to go to a foreign cloud.

Honestly: the limits

  • A beta feature.

Features marked (beta) are beta features: they may change, be restricted or be discontinued. If one is discontinued or substantially restricted, we announce this at least 30 days in advance. Details are set out in section 3a of the service description.
